At any given time, Oana is actively involved with several community and photography projects.
Some examples are:
- a book of portraits of redheaded children – now released!
- the Childhood Calendar, an annual fundraiser originated by Oana Hogrefe Photography and benefiting child-centered charities
- teaching and mentoring throughout the community

- fine art displays and auctions
